My take: When Pitchfork announced the “starting line-up” a month ago, I figured they might be holding their best cards for later. I figured correctly. Specifically the additions of Yeasayer, M83, Blitzen Trapper, The Duchess and Duke and Matt and Kim. M83 is coming off a solid run with The Killers, Yeasayer should be ringing in people’s minds with their stellar track, “Tightrope” off Dark Was the Night and Blitzen Trapper/Matt and Kim‘s showmanship is heavily documented across the blogosphere. I’m not sure how Charles Hamilton fits in to all of this, but I like it. I’d get your tickets now, $75 for 3 days of this group of artists is a steal.

Built to Spill – Liar
Blitzen Trapper – Gold For Bread
