Line-up Highlights: Incubus, Ben Harper & the Relentless7, G. Love & the Special Sauce, Ani DiFranco, The Black Keys, Matt Nathanson, Galactic, Paolo Nutini, Gomez, Railroad Earth, 3OH!3, Gov’t Mule, India.Arie, John Butler, Gogol Bordello, Jack’s Mannequin, Guster, The Wailers, Matisyahu, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Mat Kearney, Dead Confederate, Joe Pug

Tickets: 2 Day passes are $162.50+fees.  1 Day passes are $90+fees.  Layaway is available.

Accommodations: Camping offsite only (closest campground is 15 miles).

My Take: One of the more random headlining groups I’ve seen so far.  Tool and Widspread Panic (2 Nights) will be making their festival rounds this summer, but The Fray?  As for the rest of the line-up, it ranges from pop fare (3OH!3, Matt Nathanson) to rockers (The Black Keys, Incubus, Ben Harper) to jam bands (Robert Randolph, Gov’t Mule).

The ticket page offers what appeared to be a discount in the Car Pool package (includes four 2-day passes, special carpool parking).  Unless parking is a real issue, I don’t see how this is a deal.  Seeing how Denver is a day or more drive to most West Coast fests (Coachella, Sasquatch), I think they’ll take what they can get.

The Black Keys – Just Got To Be

Ben Harper & Relentless7 – Shimmer & Shine

Widespread Panic – Boom

Robert Randolph & the Family Band – Peekaboo

I went to Mile High last year…it was pretty cool, but very poorly planned…It took us almost 3 hours to park. One thing I will say though is that the four stages were evenly spread apart. Good venue and idea, just need to iron out some planning, which I’m sure they’ve addressed over the last year.

Bands should be great, but get ready for Aramark overprice cold hot dogs and hot beer oh and their famous stale pretzel.Chuck Morris Entertainment has fired the Colorado Resturant Ass.And hire some company out of San Fransico, they enture got rid of all but a few of the local resturants, and hire Aramark. So much for your home grown festival.I guess we didn’t need the money here Chuck!!!Oh and Chuck maybe you can have a little water presure in the drinking fountains this year so people arn’t passing out due to the heat.
