I could probably go into great detail about the Local Natives‘ show like I did for Jay-Z and Yeasyer, but you really should have just came and saw for yourself.

Observations
A) Lead singer Taylor Rice, has one of the best mustaches in rock.
B) For Gorilla Manor only being released two months ago (at least in the states), the crowd certainly knew more lyrics than I thought they would
C) When I describe Local Natives, I always compare them to Fleet Foxes with a more rock/upbeat sound. Thats only because I can’t think of any other acts that harmonize so well.
D) Do harmonizing groups always incite sing-a-longs?
E) The 2 1/2 hour delayed start made sense once the band explained they didn’t want to play chicken with the sound the metal band from “Heaven”
F) It sure sounded like the band was genuinely thankful for the near sold out crowd and will return to Atlanta in the fall. The problem with attending good shows is that I automatically want to pre-order a ticket to their next show.
G) The “Sun Hands” encore was near a frenzy with openers the Suckers joining in for a drum fest.
H) I can’t seem to find photos from the Masquerade show anywhere, but there are plenty from the band’s set at Criminal Records earlier in the day.
