There is a slew of new music that I can’t seem to catch up on, but Wolf Parade might be most intriguing. The Montreal-based 4 piece is signed to Sub Pop, so thats already an omen of good things to come (see Blitzen Trapper, CSS, Fleet Foxes and more). Although band members are part of bands like Sunset Rubdown and Handsome Furs, they took time to craft their 3rd album as Wolf Parade, Expo 86 (drops June 22nd).

“Ghost Pressure” highlights singer Dan Boeckner’s wobbling yet engaging voice amid sparkling synth. “What Did My Lover Say?” has all the makings of a post-punk anthem…and I’m addicted to it.
