I’ve had more questions on when the next Nark is coming than any over the last month….so here it is. It sounds like Game finally got his single in “Red Nation” (after the 15th try), while The Cool Kids return with that 90’s boom bap that they are so good at. Elsewhere, Big K.R.I.T. and Chamillionaire lay back on a cut sure to charm old school OutKast/UGK/Scarface fans and newcomer Justin W shines on a self-produced cut that reminds me of a Pharcyde joint I can’t place right now. I would mention Childish Gambino, but you already know (right?!?). Also, I may regret this later, but Wiz Khalifa made the album Cudder should have made last year (just sayin’).

  • Tom

    Loving BoB as usual.
    Nerd alert…
This song almost seems written for Crysis 2 (a video game about a crisis in New York – you may have seen/heard the commercial – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llvXYnYXRK0). I love it when my interests combine. Almost as good as Little Big Planet and Passion Pit collab (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs0T5l24JL0)!

  • Thanks for the Nerd update. I had no idea that track was part of that game’s ad. Good reminder about Little Big Planet. Sleepyhead seems perfect for that game.
