Good Friday to you. Need some new mixes to get you to the weekend? I can help with that. See below for two remixes from JayeL Audio regulars, Scott Melker, Vacationer and The Knocks.

Mr. Melker unleashes the first leak from an upcoming Terry Urban curated mixtape called Rachet Rock. The track aptly marries The Police’s “Message In A Bottle” with Kanye’s “Mercy” along with some original Scott Melker production.

Speaking of favorite songs, rising act Vacationer has been on the road with Tennis and remixed the catchy anthem “Petition”. The new rendition has a slowed down hazy edge that will cool any humid day ahead.

The Knocks take one of my favorite songs of the Summer from Santigold (from one of my favorite albums) and give it an electro glow.

Awesome Friday hits!! I love the Melker mix, not so much the first time but by the third time it’s stuck in my head. Petition is overplayed by my ipod so the remix is welcomed and enjoyed. And The Knocks have my vote. All around everyone wins today, thanks for the jams!

  • I agree. The Melker mix wasn’t what I was expecting, but in a good way – especially after a few listens. Nice Friday jam!

  • Totally agree about the latest remix from Melker. It took me a few times to get into it because I hate that sample from the original Kanye song, but it grew on me for sure.
