I thoroughly enjoyed producer Porter Robinson‘s initial EP Spitfire that covered everything from house to trance in 2012, but his new sound is even more impressive. New single “Sad Machine” finds Robinson paired up with a robot-like vocalist and plenty of rising and sweeping synth, much like M83-sounding lead single “Sea of Voices”. If Robinson’s new album Worlds has this type of wide-ranging appeal, he could go from one of the top rising electronic producers of the moment to an even bigger role in music. Stream “Sad Machine” below and look for Worlds coming soon.
