Londoner Jack Garratt continues to find new and exciting ways to exercise his emotions through music. New single “Chemicals” has a kitchen sink approach feel, but in a controlled chaotic way. Handclaps accompany Garratt’s bone-chilling vocals before a tease of synth erupts with bass-rattling tones before coming down with piano and distortion. The track audibly perfectly evokes the alchemy the narrator experiences in relationships. Its okay Jack, you had us at the handclaps.
