There is so much happening in Woolf and the Wondershow‘s debut single “Cloaked” that it would be easy for the track to lose its way. The fluttering synth, see-saw strings, elevating vocal harmonies and inescapable hook sound like a combination of Disney’s Spectro Magic Parade and something from the Victorian Age. However, the mysterious newcomer Woolf keeps the infectious track focused with charming vocals amid the guarded narrative. Also, how have all songwriters in history missed the opportunity to describe a sheltered heart as “cloaked” before?
