Blog posts have been few and far between these days, but the new indie/electronic pop sounds of Canaro are certainly worthy enough to dust off the keyboard. The Detroit six-piece are now “three for three” when it comes to replay-worthy hooks according to my count with new track “Depth”. The intoxicating single spirals with Liz Shar’s celestial vocals and Cut Copy-esque synth that sounds retro without being a novelty.

“Depth” adds to early favorites “Fell Too Hard” and “Guapical” that manage RAC and St. Lucia heights from the recently released, People Movers Vol. 2. “Fell Too Hard” pulses with percussion and more keys, while “Guapical” bounces with more beach-ready rhythms.

Canaro members from left to right: Mack Partin (bass), Brad Baginsky (keys), Steve Stone (guitar), Joel Gullickson (Drums), Liz Shar (Vocals), Michael McNamara aka Beatloaf (Producer).

Stream “Depth”, “Fell Too Hard”, and “Guapical” below and download free at Canaro’s site or via Soundcloud. Keep an eye on Canaro on Facebook, Spotify, and Soundcloud.
