The Kickback/Hear Nebraska: Take A Way Shows in Lincoln?

I’m always a sucker for musical performances in places they wouldn’t normally be played at. It certainly helps when the songs are so infections. Prime example, The Kickback’s segment as part of Hear Nebraska‘s one-take video series. My friend Andy was right when he said “I can’t get this song out of me brain”. Anyways, the band is The Kickback, Chicago-based, but “hailing from North Dakota”. The video was produced by Love Drunk Studios and is from an upcoming series of one-take videos being filmed in Nebraska in conjunction with non-profit Hear Nebraska. Get familiar.

Also, to any Nebraska album, a belated welcome to the Big Ten!

Update (12/9) – Be on the lookout for the Love Drunk crew next summer when they hit the road to film bands across the country. Hit them up and maybe you can get them to film your band.

More info on Hear Nebraska is below. Look for their new website in January!
A pending nonprofit, Hear Nebraska has operated solely on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr since June, but its website (launching in late January) will allow fans, bands, venues, promoters and other organizations to create profiles and events, blog, and share media. It will operate as a local social networking site hyper-focused on the arts.
