The Neighbourhood: A Little Death

h6t1_TheNeighbourhoodThankYouG010002912959QF001RGBThe Neighbourhood helmed one of my favorite tracks of 2012 with “Sweater Weather” and given me hope for 2013 with “A Little Death”. The bubbling track is more of a slow burner than previous blog favorites, but the b-side to the “Let It Go” single charms in it’s own way. The electro breakdown at the 2:38 mark reminds me of Daft Punk’s contribution to Tron Legacy. Stream below and look for a full debut in 2013.

The Neighbourhood Tour:
1/14: THE GLASSLANDS: BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – 11PM (tickets)
1/15: THE MET CAFÉ: PAWTUCKET, RI – 9PM (tickets)
1/16: BRIGHTON MUSIC HALL: BOSTON, MA – 9PM (tickets)
1/17: THE MERCURY LOUNGE – NEW YORK, NY – 8PM (tickets)

BONUS: Check out the Neighbourhood’s unexpected, but bad ass cover of Souls of Mischeif’s “’93 til Infinity”
