Rising quintet Young Galaxy has caught my ear a few times in 2011 with tracks like “Cover Your Tracks” and “We Have Everything” from their 3rd album Shapeshifting. The new single “Pretty Boy” showcases the Montreal act’s pop acumen on a bubbling synth anthem sang by band co-founder Catherine McCandless.
