People have called my taste in music “eclectic”, which I always take as a compliment. Considering my last few posts have covered folk/bluegrass, hip-hop and dance remixes, we might as well talk ’80’s inspired synth pop. ATL’s After Hours‘ recent single “Fast Life” fuses Prince-style falsetto with “Electric Feel” era MGMT. The slick cut meshes well with the only other After Hours jam I’ve found called “Voyager”, which has a Pharrell meets Empire Of The Sun vibe. Queue these nostalgic tracks up at your next sunset event.
