Milkman – Machines & Dreams

Milkman aka Gregg Luskin crafted some of my favorite mash-ups of the year when Algorithms dropped. The San Diego DJ/producer eventually moved to creating other music for the dancefloor and released new album Machines & Dreams this past June. “Origins” aptly kicks of the set with bruising bass, smooth strings and deep tones reminiscent of Justice’s early work. Irresistible bass lines also drive on dance ready cuts like “Xenon” and “In Search Of A Place” Singers Curtis Peoples (“Our World”) and Tommy Hobson (“My Friends”) play the excellent roles for “hooks you are definitely going to repeat when you play this” that work as well as other massive dance anthems. Stream Machines & Dreams below and purchase on iTunes.
