September came waaaaay too soon, but let’s hope these perfect temperatures stick around for awhile. This week’s Remix Friday features Wookie’s reinterpretation of an excellent John Newman track, the return of Little Daylight to the remix game and Alex Metric’s spice on Empire of the Sun’s “DNA”. You’ll also notice Luxxury put his own spin on Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence”. Â Is it better than The Golden Pony’s recent remix of the same track? Let me know in the comments.
The throwback remix of the week comes from RF staples, RAC. Their take on KoL’s anthem “Use Somebody” took over my iPod so often that I can’t even listen to the original without yearning for the RAC mix. Let me know your favorite below!
P.S. just because Labor Day has passed, doesn’t mean DJ Double A’s Best of Remix Friday mix shouldn’t be blasting from your speakers this weekend. Give it a listen or 10.
