Philly production duo Louis Futon captured my ear with laid back, electronic remixes of acts like Mos Def and Childish Gambino. While I hope they keep those remixes coming, if the rest of their new original productions sound like “Sir Rock”, I may trade allegiances. The nearly 5 minute cut flutters with sped up vocals, sly synth, stuttering percussion and perhaps xylophone (?) that sounds like a pleasing Flume and Kaytranada combo. Stream “Sir Rock” below and look for a full EP later this Summer.
