Ryn Weaver – Promises

artworks-000086790975-58b9li-t500x500 One month later, and Ryn Weaver‘s explosive debut single “OctaHate” is still likely on repeat in your head. Its ok, I have the same problem.

The rising 21 year old singer seemingly burst on the scene out of nowhere with one of the biggest songs of the year. Maybe it shouldn’t have been so surprising though. Details would soon emerge that Weaver had been working with a “who’s who” in amazing pop talents: Jessie Ware, Cashmere Cat, Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos and Charli XCX. Ryn was also signed to Benny Blanco’s new label and though all these big names are impressive, Weaver melodically and emotionally held her own on the addictive cut.

Now comes another reason to be excited about Weaver’s early buzz in the ambitious new single “Promises”. The next offering features stuttering samples, booming percussion and escalating production only matched by Weaver’s soaring vocals. Stream “Promises” below and look out for an EP from Ryn Weaver soon.
