FESTIVALIST ’15: Wayhome Music & Arts Festival – Daily Line-up & Map

11108205_1020382107972225_6919285697939247716_nFestival-goers been talking about the first edition of Wayhome Music & Arts Festival since early February. Now the true excitement is building with less than two months to go until the Republic Live/AC Entertainment takes over the former Burl’s Creek grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.

An early preview of the festival map was just released along with a daily lineup for those eager to start planning their days at Wayhome. As promised, the grounds will feature four stages, along with a VIP barn and forest area that looks intriguing (though undefined). For those staying all weekend, there will be two large general camping areas, RV camping, VIP camping and a “24-hour area” that could mean just about everything.

The daily lineup should relieve some conflict worries, such as my own feared Girl Talk vs. Run The Jewels dilemma. However, the lack of set times will keep fans on edge for a little while longer. Neil Young commands Friday, but how the Hozier/Alt J/Decemberists/Girl Talk scheduling will shake out is sure to cause at least one conflict. Saturday sees Kendrick Lamar in the headliner slot with a lot of late night potentials (Run the Jewels? Sylvan Esso? Bassnectar? ODESZA?). Sam Smith will close the festival on Sunday with a shorter list of performers, but a strong day of music from the likes of Kaytranada, St. Vincent, Walk The Moon, Sloan and more. See below for the full daily lineups and preview map:

If all those news items don’t get you excited, organizers have also started teasing late night acts. I certainly could see the likes of Girl Talk, Sylvan Esso, Bassnectar and other as quality late night performers that would keep attendees rocking throughout the night/early morning.

Who are you most excited to see at Wayhome? What artists would make perfect late night performers?
